A resident of Vancouver, Mr. MacQuarrie has 40 years' mineral exploration experience, including almost 30 years in West Africa. He has been responsible for the discovery, acquisition and development of many significant gold deposits both in Canada and in Ghana. As the former CEO of PMI Gold Corporation, he oversaw the acquisition of all the PMI mineral titles including Kubi and Obotan (+ 5 million oz. gold deposit) prior to PMI being bought by Galiano Gold (formerly Asanko Gold/Keegan Resources) in 2013 in an all-share deal valued at CAD$183 million; the Galiano-Goldfields 50:50 JV mine is now in production at circa 220,000 oz per year. He has been responsible for raising over $45 million for exploration and development. Mr. MacQuarrie is a founder of Asante Gold Corporation, and the Managing Director of Goknet Mining Company Limited - a private Ghanaian exploration company he co-founded in the year 2000 with Ghanaian Nationals Godfried Kesse (former Director Ghana Geological Service), Thomas Ennison (LLB), and Eric Ewen (Canadian prospector and discoverer of Keegan Esaase orebody). He is a member of the Association of Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, and also serves as an Independent Director at IC Capitalight Corp., which owns and operates Capitalight Research - a weekly and monthly subscription-based research company focused on the gold and silver commodity prices, Canadian preferred shares, bonds, and economics.
Mr. Easah was a founding Director of Cardinal Resources Limited where he spearheaded the acquisition of all tenements and played a key role in the discovery and development of the seven million-ounce Namdini Gold Project in Northern Ghana. Cardinal Resources was recently purchased by Shandong Gold Company for ~AUS$600 million. Mr. Easah has over fifteen years of exploration, mining, and project development experience; is a resident in Accra, Ghana. Mr. Easah is the husband of Nadia Abdul-Aziz, a non-Executive Director of the Company.
A resident of Toronto, Mr. Gibbs has over 30 years of corporate financial management experience and has been involved in Canadian junior mining and mineral exploration companies since 2008. Mr. Gibbs is currently also Chief Financial Officer of Plateau Energy Metals Inc. (TSXV:PLU) operating in Peru.

A resident of Obuasi, Ghana, Mr. Ahmed, a Ghanaian National, is a mining engineer with over 30 years of experience in mine operations, planning, production, and management. This wealth of expertise gained him the position as a Mine Manager at Obuasi, one of the World's foremost underground gold mines, producing up to 1.8 million tonnes per year (~4,900 tpd). In this capacity Mr. Ahmed managed a workforce of over 1000, with an annual budget of US$100 million.
Mrs. Aziz is a focused and result-driven finance professional with many years of experience in government relations, communications, marketing and acquisitions through-out West Africa. As a Director of Indussi Resources, a private Ghana based project originator and developer, she has played a key role in the acquisition of significant mineral concessions and in mine development. Mrs. Aziz is resident in Accra, Ghana.

A resident of Vancouver, Mr. Heath has 15 years of corporate finance, investment banking and capital markets experience focused on the mining industry. He has worked on numerous public and private equity offerings, valuations, fairness opinions, and M&A transactions. Mr. Heath graduated with a B.Com. (Hons) specializing in Finance and Marketing from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia, and is a CFA charterholder.
A highly optimistic and driven successful entrepreneur with more than 25 years of experience as Founder, CEO, and Board Member. A mentor of innovative strategies and a go-to-guru for project consultations, governmental issues, and startup initiatives. Carsten is a business coach and active board member in businesses related to intellectual property, retail, investment, mining, and data-driven marketing & sales.
Dr. Roger Norwich undertook both undergraduate and postgraduate studies in geology at Manchester University, England.
Initially working in the oil industry in the Permian Basin, the Gulf of Mexico and the North Sea, he has more recently been involved in the development and financing of precious metals mining companies, such as: Otis Gold Corp. which had significant silver and gold assets in Idaho, USA and which was in April 2020 bought by Excellon Resources (TSX & NYSE American); on whose Board he now sits as the company produces silver in Mexico and is developing future gold assets in Idaho, as well as exploring silver in Saxony, Germany.
As the founding director of Mexican Silver Mines (TSX-V), Dr. Norwich was instrumental in merging with Rio Alto Mining (TSX & NYSE) which grew into a significant gold producer in Peru and was subsequently sold to Tahoe (NYSE) for US$1.12billion.
He also represents the Boards of Optitune plc. and Optitune OY which develop hi-tec coatings in the renewable energy, electronics, and light management sectors; and is a Chairman of Mexican Renewable Energy - a Dublin based company developing multiple large-scale wind energy projects throughout Mexico for sale to multinational power companies.
Senior Project Development Consultant and Advisor to the Board
Mr. Anthony has +40 years’ experience in mining and mineral processing mostly gained at the senior management & executive levels in gold process plant design, permitting, construction and operation. He has designed, delivered, and operated open pit and underground mine operating assets with CAPEX from $100M to $3.6B and with total material movement to 40Mt/y. Mr. Anthony is a former COO of African Barrick Gold and has extensive international experience including development and operation of the Barrick - Bulyanhulu, Tulawaka & Buzwagi mines in Tanzania, as well as the former COO of Cardinal Resources, responsible for development of the Namdini mine project in Ghana. Mr. Anthony has also worked extensively in Canada, Ecuador, and Brazil. He is recognized as a resourceful team leader, with a track record of delivering high-quality assets on time and on budget, with exemplary safety and environmental performance.
Mr. Ewen is a professional prospector. He graduated from the Haileybury School of Mines in Ontario in 1972, and has spent his entire career exploring for and finding gold and base metals in Canada, and West Africa. He first came to West Africa with Carlin Resources exploring for bedrock sources for diamonds, and later along with Godfried Kesse, the then recently retired Director of the Ghana Geological Survey, in the year 2000 formed Goknet Mining Company Limited.
From 2005 to 2010 he was the Managing Director of Keegan Resources Ghana, where he was instrumental in acquiring the Bonte Gold mining lease – a former alluvial gold mining operation located just north of the GalianoGold/Goldfields - Asanko Mine (Obotan). He commenced wide spread soil sampling lines prospecting for the bedrock source of the alluvial gold – and is credited with discovering and drilling off the Esaase gold deposit which is the subject of the Phase 2 expansion of the Asanko Gold mine. The geological resource base for the Esaase and Obotan projects is circa 11 million ounces of gold.
Dr. Abdel-Majeed Haroun

A resident of Accra, Ghana, Dr. Haroun brings to the Board more than 30 years of hands-on experience in Ghana's two most important industries – mining and agriculture.
He has held the positions of Deputy Minister of Mines and Deputy Minister of Agriculture. He was also the Special Advisor to Vice President Alou Mahama on the Economy and International Relations. He has chaired numerous governmental committees involved in rural development and mining sector support including as Acting Managing Director of Prestea Sankofa Gold Ltd, a subsidiary of Ghana National Petroleum Corporation.
Dr. Majeed co-founded and is the executive director of Africa Paulownia Silviculture and Environmental Conservation Institute, a consultancy focused on reclaiming galamsey-damaged land back to environmentally sustainable agricultural use. The Institute also focuses on research to halt desertification across the African Sahel.

His Majesty Ehunabobrim Prah Agyensaim VI, LLB/BA (Hons), also known as W. E Jonah, Paramount Chief of Owirenkyi Traditional Area Central Region, Republic of Ghana, was born in Obuasi, Ghana. He is a Graduate of the Metropolitan University of City of London and holds LLB/BA (Hons) in Business Law, a Barrister-at-Law and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Ghana
Mr. Jonah was a Member of the Council of State (Presidential Advisory Board), Board Chairman of Perseus Mining Ghana Limited, Board Member of Maxam Ghana Limited, Chairman of Ghacem Foundation, Board Member of Ghacem Ghana Limited, Consultant for Caspian Oil and Gas, Chairman of Mobus Properties Limited, Member of Central Regional House of Chiefs, Member of National House of Chiefs, Tuberculosis Ambassador of Ghana, and Chairman of Cape Coast Teaching Hospital.
In addition, Mr. Jonah is a Chairman / Managing Director of Industrial and Engineering Services (GH) Limited and currently a Special Advisor to the Minister for Lands and Natural Resources. He resides in Accra and Assin Kushea, Ghana.

Kevin Thomson has spent a large part of his career exploring for and developing gold resources in Canada and West Africa, recently working as Group Exploration Manager, West Africa for Perseus Mining; Exploration Manager, Ghana for Newmont Mining; as well as in Canada with Noranda Exploration, Hemlo Gold, Battle Mountain Gold, and Lac Minerals. Between 2007 and 2012, Mr. Thomson jointly with his co-workers managed exploration and resource drilling programs at the Edikan mine in Ghana and at Sissingue in Cote d'Ivoire resulting in the discovery of two new orebodies and the addition of gold resources of 5.9 Moz at Edikan and 1.2 Moz at Sissingue, for a total of 7.1 Moz, including 3.8 Moz in the proven and probable category. Kevin holds a Hons. BSc. Geology & Physical Geography degree from McMaster University, and is a member of the Association of Professional Geoscientists of Ontario. Mr. Abrokwah has worked since 2008 with the Ministry of Finance, Ghana, first as a Technical Consultant and currently as Principal Economist. He has worked in various capacities in the Ministry including the Debt Management Division, Public Investments Division, the Economic Research and Forecasting Division, and currently as the Head of Tax Policy Research. Prior to joining the Ministry, Mr. Abrokwah worked as the Financial Officer of Markets Matter Inc (MMINC), a USA-based independent, not-for-profit, international development organization, and for the Royal Bank of Scotland (Eurest management Services) managing group budgets. Since 2006, he has lectured part-time in the following tertiary institutions; Ashesi University (Undergraduate level courses in International Economics and Marketing); the Economics Department, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology ( Graduate level Course in Energy Markets); University of Professional Studies (Graduate level course in Petroleum Economics, Petroleum Finance) and Ghana Technology College/Coventry University MBA program (Graduate level Courses in Strategic Management, Petroleum Economics, and Economics for Managers). Mr. Abrokwah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Cardiff Business School, University of Wales; and Master’s degrees in Energy, Trade, and Finance from Cass Business School, City University, London, and in Public Administration from Cornell University, Ithaca, New York.

He then joined PI Financial and Levesque Securities (National Bank Financial) where his responsibilities included serving high net-worth, corporate and global institutional clients in Europe and Middle East. He brings decades of experience in the capital markets and has strong relationships with fund managers and family offices.
